Everybody is welcome and no previous experience is needed.Our Spring term sessions take place at Lansdowne Primary School (Lansdowne Road, Tilbury, Essex, RM18 7QB) every Wednesday from 3-5pm on the following dates:Wed 22nd AprilWed 29th AprilWed 6th MayWed 13th MayWed 20th May- HALF TERM BREAKWed 3rd JuneEVENT - Sat 6th June - save the date!Wed 10th June(No session Wed 17th June)Wed 24th JuneWith experienced artists Marsha Ashley and Salina Jane we will create our own artwork and contribute towards the making of our Together Create Pop Up Art space. Building on the our Community Picnic Blanket created in summer 2025, we will now be creating large-scale collaborative artworks, which weave together stories, dreams and cultural traditions. We will learn new textile and artistic techniques and share our skills with one another.Our creative outcomes will be shared at events taking place in Thurrock across the year. This Spring/Summer we are working towards an exciting collaboration with our friends at Kinetika and T100, as well as an event to mark Refugee Week 2026, and explore its theme of 'Courage'.No previous experience is required, all are welcome. Please book in to reserve your space.About Together Productions:Together Productions is a ground-breaking social change organisation based in the UK. We produce innovative collaborative arts projects that connect people, organisations and audiences across social and cultural divides. We use music and the arts as a catalyst to break down barriers, reduce isolation and enhance well-being. We produce high quality artistic work that is grown through creative collaboration, participation and experimentation.Our work includes those who are marginalised or excluded, such as displaced people and those seeking sanctuary, people facing mental health challenges, the elderly, the financially disadvantaged and socially excluded.
