De nog jonge Doetinchemse Countryzangeres Yara Beeks schitterde in de SBS6 show ‘Talent Unplugged’, heeft al veel ervaring opgedaan en is bezig een goede reputatie op te bouwen in binnen- en buitenland.

Ze deelde het podium met onder andere Douwe Bob, de Engelse singer-songwriter Mike Toole en de succesvolle Countryband Ramblin Boots. Ze is meerdere malen te horen geweest in Spanje, Duitsland en België en op festivals als Mañana Mañana en Eurosonic. Zichzelf begeleidend op gitaar schrijft Yara over het dagelijks leven dat voor ons allemaal herkenbaar is en laat ze zich inspireren door onder meer Vince Gill, Ilse de Lange en Alison Krauss. In haar repertoire heeft ze naast eigen werk ook covers van the Chicks, Dolly Parton, Danny Vera en Johnny Cash.
