GEW Get Inspired Event

Get inspired by well-known entrepreneurial speakers! This event is all about getting inspired by the stories of several entrepreneurs. Next to this, you get the opportunity to ask questions to the entrepreneurs! The event is open to everyone!

At this year’s Get Inspired Event, we’re excited to host two remarkable entrepreneurs who show how bold ideas can lead to meaningful impact. See them below!

Koen Droste, co-founder of Polarsteps, will share the story behind one of the most successful travel apps in the world. Polarsteps helps over 15 million users document their journeys and relive their travel memories in a beautiful, intuitive way. Koen will talk about the startup’s early days, the challenges of scaling a tech company, and how a clear product vision and strong team culture helped turn a simple idea into a global platform.

Sander de Klerk is the founder of The Good Roll, a social enterprise on a mission to change lives with something as simple as toilet paper. His company produces 100% recycled, plastic-free toilet paper and donates 50% of its profits to building toilets in communities that lack access to safe sanitation. Sander’s journey is a testament to how entrepreneurship and social impact can go hand in hand - expect a talk filled with passion and purpose.

During the networking drinks you can connect with fellow student entrepreneurs and meet Student Teams that are recruiting new students for their innovative ideas.
