English Community Read, Tiffin-Seneca Public Library will host “How to Read a Book Like a Professor: Follow-Up Discussion” on Thursday, May 7 at 6:00 p.m. in the Frost Kalnow Room. Heidelberg Professor Dr. Barry Devine will return to the Library to lead a discussion on The Astral Library. This program explores the novel and reflect on Dr. Devine’s earlier session, discussing how his tips and techniques influenced the reading experience.

The Community Read features a series of special programs to honor the book The Astral Library by Kate Quinn. Each year the Community Read encourages people in Seneca County to read the selected title and come together for special events and discussions. 

As the featured event in the Community Read, Kate Quinn, a New York Times best-selling author, will speak to the community on Tuesday, April 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the Chandelier Community Event Center. The author event is completely free and open to the community and will be followed by a book signing. Copies of The Astral Library will be available for purchase thanks to the Pan Yan Bookstore.
