- **Event Description**: It is time once again for our #SpringJury ! If you have been thinking about joining, this is the first step in your #artisansnorthwestmember journey! 

First, go to our website; artisansnorthwest.ca
Either click on the HOW TO JOIN button on our home page, or go to the Join tab, read the information there, and fill out the application form and send in your application/jury fee. 

On June 15th, bring 3 to 7 pieces of your work to Canvas and Clay, 106 Simpson Street between 6 and 6:30pm, once you drop them off, you will return at 8:30pm to pick them up, after the jury has completed their evaluation. 

If you are unsure about applying please email our Selection chair Susan Wright-Cassan at selectionchairanw@gmail.com 

Susan has been selection chair for many years and has been a member for over 15 years. She will assist you with your questions, the application process and requirements. 

Artisans Northwest is the only juried art collective in Thunder Bay. We have been a juried group since our inception over 50 years ago. This jury process is accomplished by dedicated members, who evaluate the originality, technical ability and creativity of your work. 

Every jury application is treated equally. The jury process is an equalizer, work submitted by a student is evaluated with the same respect and care as someone who has been working 40 years in their field. 

Being a juried group means that when you attend our show, or see our members out in the community at other shows, you will meet Artisans who are dedicated and knowledgeable about their medium, who have worked for thousands of hours to develop their original craft, who have continued learning and developing their technique throughout their craft career and who have committed to becoming a master at what they do.
