Here we are with another year to celebrate Mother’s Day with, “Girlfriends and Chocolate 2026”. Plan on spending a great afternoon of fellowship, worship, hearing God’s Word and a lot of chocolate. Our theme this year is “STEADFAST”.

Our scripture is taken from Psalm 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” We go to the source upon which our faith stands: God’s Word! God’s Word tells me that He is our Savior—He was sacrificed for you and me. In
Him is where my identity lies; I am a child of God! He is my strength. Even when trouble surrounds me and it’s hard, I can make it through. He is my direction; He will guide my path along this journey in life. He is my peace despite the storm that
surrounds me. He is my rock, and my foundation is built on Him and His Word. He is my joy despite all the havoc this world brings. During this time of uncertainty, now more than ever, we need to join together to stay steadfast in Him.

Our special speaker this year is Robin Keegan Spence. She lives in CT. She is a gifted speaker along with being the Worship Ministry Leader at her church.

Robin is a woman who loves a good cup of coffee and a great conversation about Jesus. After 64 years of navigating motherhood and having to reinvent herself and her career in her late 40’s, Robin has seen firsthand how God’s grace meets us in the middle of our mess. Her passion is helping women trade 'perfect' for 'purposeful' and find joy in the everyday. She has spoken over the years at women’s retreats, led Bible studies, but has found in the last year, God opening new doors for speaking to large and small groups alike to encourage women to walk in the fullness of their identity in Christ. She speaks from a place of transparency and the Biblical truths she has found to encourage and guide her in her own life all to leave the women she meets more in love with Jesus and content with the place God has them at this very moment in time.
