Please join us for a special evening hosted by one of our MT Fly Gals members, Michelle, at her home in Three Forks.
Ann Gregoire, who had a Masters Degree in Stream Ecology has graciously volunteered to give a talk on aquatic insects that live in our local
streams.
Ann grew up in Western NY and Central PA, fishing and hunting with her Dad. She went to Dartmouth College and spent a lot of time hiking and fishing in the streams and lakes of New England.
She has been working with streams since 1992 doing fieldwork, collecting bugs and other stream data. Since 2005, Ann has worked for a consulting company identifying bugs, crayfish, snails, clams, leeches, and worms. She says that there is a lot to be learned about what is living (or absent) in a body of water!
Ann has lived in Bozeman since 2002 and loves fishing, hiking, hunting, gardening, rock hunting, and XC skiing.
We hope you will join us for this fun and educational evening.
Soup will be provided by our hostess, Michelle. Please feel free to bring a potluck dish or beverages that would complement what is being served.
If you can please RSVP to this event, it will help us in food planning.
Hope to see many of you there! This will be a great way to meet other women in our group.
