VCGSRC presents The Gondoliers

We are opening “The Gondoliers” by Gilbert and Sullivan at Hillcrest Center for the Arts (403 W Hillcrest Dr, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360) on 3/6/26, running Fridays through Sundays until 3/22/26, at 7:30 Friday and Saturday, 2:00 on Sunday, with an added show on Thursday March 19 at 7:30. Marco and Giuseppe Palmieri, a pair of Venetian gondoliers, are told that one of them is heir to the throne of the fictional kingdom of Barataria; until it can be discovered by the Grand Inquisitor which of them is the heir, they must rule jointly. Unbeknownst to the brothers, who have just married Venetian farm girls, the heir was wed in infancy to Casilda, the daughter of the Spanish Duke of Plaza-Toro, who is herself in love with her father's servant.
