Old Boney Mountain Hot Summer Night Festival is back and will take place Thursday July 14 at The Gardens at Los Robles Golf Course in Thousand Oaks. Consisting of unlimited craft beer wine spirits hot sauce and food tastings this year's theme is "Bringing People Together." Over 100 small-batch hot sauce companies from around the world are participating in a pre-judged event. Festival-goers can sample sauces while enjoying live music and local cuisine. Festival attendees can also donate to cast their vote for the “People’s Choice Award” for their favorite culinary experience favorite hot sauce label and participate in a silent auction. Singer/songwriter Wais is performing live. The festival's main beneficiaries are the Ventura County Fire Department Widows Orphans & Assistance Fund and the Old Boney Mountain Foundation For Kids. Festival hours are 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. VIP entry begins at 5:00 p.m. and tastings end at 8:30 p.m. An awards ceremony begins at 8:00 p.m. Tickets start at $60. Space is limited.
