Open Jam at the Brit

Join us for a night of music and fellow musicians.

To Be held at

Britannia Pub
7359 Yonge St, Thornhill

Your host is Ray Gertner, David Grossman and Noah Marks
We start at 8:30

This is a regular event running every 2nd Wed of every month! For 3 hours we will be the center of the universe and we are all rock stars for a day!

The format is for the house band to open and then each jammer plays 2 songs . Once we have rotated through all the jammers, we start again.

We are calling it an acoustic / low volume jam. Guitars go though the PA. If you want to bring a kit or keyboard, let me know

This event is presented by The Institute of R&R and starts at 8:30PM till 11:30PM . The event is open to all, including all musicians and karaoke singers. I want this to be well planned so try and let me know ahead of time that your are coming what you want to play. Priority is given to those who let me know and secondly to those who show up first. You must know what you want to do before you come up!!

This event is meant for all musicians of all levels to perform. Armatures get a chance to play with professionals and professionals can play without having to haul out all the gear. Let me know you are coming, what you want to play and if you need someone on bass, keys ,drums etc. Singers, please bring music or arrange it with me before hand.

If your not a musician come out to support the band and if you know musicians, bring them out as well

Do not try to play over everyone. Use the mantra that lots of little sounds make a great big sound. The more people on stage, the smaller you should play and only one musician should have the spotlight at a time :)

We are trying to get players of all levels to play. When solo come up. Play 12 bars and indicate to the next player to take the next 12. No matter what level, encourage everyone to try.

If you see and instrument not being used you should pick it up. This includes backup singers when a mic is available!

Don't forget to like this event, confirm your attendance and invite others friends.

Bring your friends and family
