This program connects eligible young adults with paid work opportunities designed to build real-world experience and job readiness skills while supporting local businesses and workforce development efforts. Participants may work up to 35 hours per week for up to 9 weeks while gaining valuable hands-on experience with local employers.

During the session, attendees will learn about program eligibility, participation expectations, available opportunities, and how to get started. Businesses interested in participating are encouraged to attend, including those who may have missed the first information session.

To qualify, participants must be ages 16–24, have earned a high school diploma or GED, and be experiencing a qualifying hardship or barrier to employment. Examples may include receiving public assistance, foster care experience, parenting youth, housing insecurity, or other qualifying circumstances.

In-person attendance will be held in the Main Floor Meeting Room of the Thomson Government Complex (210 Railroad Street | Thomson, GA 30824). Virtual attendees will receive access information upon registering.
