"Hello Sunday!

I am Maggie Anakalea and I manage the tours and education experiences.

Age Range Restrictions: There really aren't any restrictions but for the groups it would be better if they are at similar points so that I can tailor the lessons to be a better fit.

Group Number Restrictions: On one tour I can comfortably fit 10-12 people; this number changes depending on the size of the children and the number of adults attending. We can run two trucks simultaneously, so 25 people total would be a good sized group but we can adjust that as you need.We can also set up an activity table for those who are waiting, if necessary.

Cost: I can rent a resource box from the National Buffalo Foundation for $25, so I would just ask for that amount to be covered.

Timing: I personally think mid-late May is the best time because it will be warm and it falls in the middle of calving season, allowing visitors to see all stages of the bison. Usually 10am-2pm is the best time to come see them because once the heat of the day kicks in it will be their nap time :)

Rules/Restrictions: As long as all children follow safety instructions and there are chaperones, it should be fine. If any issues arise, we can address and solve them at that time.
