Climb aboard and enjoy multiple tastings of high-quality whiskey and bourbon from different manufactures as well as BBQ served by Mission BBQ of Southington, all while in one of the finest venues Torrington has to offer at Bad Dog Brewing Company.

The excursion will depart Thomaston Station on 5/24, 6/20, 7/18, 8/8, 10/2, and 10/17.  Friday Departures are at 6:00PM and Saturdays are at 5:00 with an arrival time in Torrington at 6:45pm (Fridays) and 7:45pm (Saturdays). During the trip through the Litchfield Hills passengers will enjoy 4 tastings.  Upon arrival, dinner is served on the second floor at Bad Dog Brewing Company, located in the beautifully restored Torrington firehouse.  

The return trip to Thomaston will depart at 8:45pm (Fridays) and 7:45pm (Saturdays) with an arrival back at Thomaston Station at 9:30pm (Fridays) and 8:30pm (Saturdays).  A light desert will be handed out on the return trip!

Additional beverages will be available for purchase at Bad Dog Brewing Company and the onboard bar.

Mission BBQ gives back to the local community so the Naugatuck Railroad is matching the “mission”.  

Two Dollars from each ticket will be donated to a local volunteer fire department in the communities the Railroad runs through.  A 50/50 raffle will also be done on board each BBQ train to benefit the department specified on the dates below.
