MARCH MADNESS BOWLING TOURNAMENT

Format:
1.	Maximum number of entries will be limited to 72, so sign up fast!
2.	All 72 bowlers will bowl two (2) games of qualifying on their assigned pair of lanes.
3.	After the two games of qualifying, the bottom 16 bowlers will be eliminated.  The top 8 bowlers will receive a bye into the 2nd round of 32.
4.	1st round, bowlers will be seeded 1-48 based on 2 game total plus handicap.  Top 8 will receive a bye.  Matchplay with #9 vs #48, #10 vs #47, etc..  Winners advance, losers go home :)
5.	In event of a tie score, 10th frame roll-off will take place.  High score advances.
6.	Round two, the top 8 bowlers will be added back into the bracket along with the 24 winners from Round #1.  Total of 32 bowlers.
7.	Brackets will be reseeded 1-32 based on original 2 game total plus handicap.  Matchplay with #1 vs #32, #2 vs# 31, etc.. Winners advance, losers go home!
8.	Handicap is based on 90% of 230. Bowlers will use highest USBC book average from past 2 years.
9.	Tournament director to verify all averages.
10.	If bowler does not have USBC book average, bowler will use 220 avg. (or proof of average from current season)

Prize Fund & Pay Outs:
1.	100% of money collected will be paid out, tournament director taking no money from prize fund.
2.	Based on 72 entries:
1st  place - $500
2nd place - $350
3rd place - $250
4th place - $225
5th place - $65
6th place - $65
7th place - $65
8th place - $65
9th place through 16th place - $25

Tournament will be limited to first 72 bowlers who reserve a spot (It’s filling up fast!).

Payment must be received by March 14th, 2025.  If payment is not received, your spot will be offered to 1st person on the wait list.  To reserve your spot, see Derek Gaffney or call/text at 860.335.4301.

50% of entry fees to be allocated to prize fund (Approximately $2k) With the other 50% going to benefit Michelle Kandefer.

We will be gathering raffle items for the event from local companies.  If you would like to donate an item, gift card, etc., please contact Derek Gaffney. 

100% of raffles sold will go directly to benefit Michelle!  So be sure to bring lots of $$$ the day of the event for raffle tickets!
