Join us for the 4th Annual Heroes 5K on May 23, 2026, as we come together to honor the heroes who protect and serve our community. This meaningful run supports Veterans and First Responders who are continuing their educational journey at Nicholls State University.
This year, proceeds from the Heroes 5K will be awarded to an active nurse or EMT pursuing further education at Nicholls, helping support those who dedicate their lives to caring for others. If you know a student who would benefit from this scholarship opportunity, please contact

Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a great way to give back, this 3.1-mile race is open to all. After the race, stick around and celebrate with food, drinks, and live music as we enjoy a fun evening together in honor of our heroes.
