Day 1: we will cut out the pattern, fabric pieces and learn how to add shirring to fabric. We will start to add shirring to the cut out pattern pieces.

Day 2: We will construct the dress, if we don't finish the dress in class, you will go home knowing how too.

Skills You’ll Learn or Strengthen:
• Hemming Techniques: Practice creating straight hems for a polished finish. 
• Shirring: Master shirring techniques to create a beautiful silhouette. 
• Sleeve Construction: Build confidence sewing a variety of sleeve style 
• Working with Drape: Learn how to handle soft, woven fabrics that flow beautifully but can be tricky to cut and sew.

You will receive a PDF pattern to print yourself.


Pattern includes sizes XXS-7XL.

***YOU SHOULD BE AN ACCOMPLISHED SEWER IN ORDER TO ATTEND THIS CLASS.***

You will need:
* Sewing machine ( + all leads and instruction booklet)
* Basic sewing kit i.e. scissors, pins, tape measure, needle, thread.
* Pen and paper
* Packed lunch
* fabric and notions to complete the dress/top

This course is over 2 days Saturday 5th and 12th September 2026.

PLEASE NOTE; You must be able to attend both days I cannot be responsible for an incomplete garment or offer refunds on non-attendance.

£90 for the complete course. - this includes light refreshments and PDF pattern.
£25 non-returnable deposit, (payable through PayPal or Bank transfer)

Balance due 14 days before class.
