# Event Details - **Event Name**: Sewing Retreat 2026 (FULL) - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 21 Feb, 2026 at 09:30 am – Sun, 22 Feb, 2026 at 05:15 pm - **Event Description**: Fun with Fabrics is offering 2 days of sewing, in the company of like-minded sewists in a beautiful country hotel, where we can indulge in some ‘me-time’ and have lots of fun and laughter with friends old and new. Included in this weekend are lunch both days, bed, breakfast and evening meal in single occupancy rooms. (Unless you want to share) 2 full days of fun and classes with access to tea and coffee. Some of the materials will be included but you will have to supply the fabric for the bolero class. You will need: • sewing machine, all leads etc • sewing kit • selection of threads • fabric for the bolero class • mini-iron and heat pad (optional) Home for the weekend will be the Broom Hall Country Hotel, Saham Toney, Norfolk. All rooms offer complimentary WiFi, a flat-screen TV with Freeview channels, tea and coffee making facilities and comfortable beds. Each room is uniquely decorated. Unfortunately, you are unable to pick a specific room as the hotel will allocate them. However, if you need an accessible room, please let me know on booking. PLEASE BE AWARE, THESE ARE NOT IN THE MAIN HOTEL BUILDING. If you require any drinks outside of our mini-classes, they must be purchased and paid for by yourself, The conference room and toilets are all on the ground floor making access much easier than last year. This year we will start with a Sewing Bee Challenge, followed by making an Ellie and Mac Chelsea casual bolero. This has lots of variations including long and short sleeves. You will provide the fabric for this class which will be made over Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning sessions. The pattern for this class will be provided. (XXS- 6XL) Fabric requirements: maximum 2 meters 4-way stretch. The Sunday afternoon session is yet to be confirmed. Fee for the weekend is £295. A non-refundable deposit of £75 is due on booking, payment plan available on request (please feel free to ask for details) Gift vouchers for this event will be available too.
