Coddiwomple means ‘to travel in a purposeful manner towards an as-yet unknown destination’ which sums up many of our walks and various adventures through life.We’d love to welcome you to our monthly willow-weaving classes for adults, where the focus is on fun, creativity, and a sense of wellbeing as we explore traditional basketry skills together. Each month brings a brand-new project—anything from birdfeeders to festive Christmas decorations. Come every month or just drop in whenever it suits you.In May workshop, we'll be using the 'corn dolly weave' to create woven bullrushes. These look great in floral arrangements, or outside in the garden. You'll also have the opportunity to make some long woven leaves if you want to create a display. All tools and materials are provided, along with plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits, and of course, Mr F’s legendary jokes.Thompson Community Hall is a modern building with good parking, facilities and accessibilty.Doors open at 6:30pm, and we’ll aim to start weaving by 6:45pm.
