Open Evening for prospective Year 7 students and their families.About this EventWe are delighted to be holding an in-person Open Evening on Wednesday 24th June 2026 3.45-6.40pm for families of students who are looking for a place in Year 7 at our school in September 2027.Sutton Coldfield Grammar School for Girls is about so much more than academic success. Over the course of seven years, it provides students with numerous opportunities to develop their existing skills, to discover new ones, to challenge themselves and broaden their horizons.We are proud to welcome girls from all backgrounds, creating a diverse and inclusive community where every student is encouraged to thrive, fulfil their potential, and make the most of the opportunities available to them.-During the evening there will be a presentation in the main school hall by the Headteacher, current Year 7 and Sixth Form students, these will take place at 4.00pm, 5.00pm and 6.00pm. There will be student-guided tours of the school with opportunities to visit all departments, speak to teachers and students who will share their experiences of being part of the Sutton Girls Community, see our well-maintained facilities and many of our extra and super-curricular opportunities.Tickets for the presentations must be booked in advance. Prospective students and their families can choose to attend one of the first two presentations before their school tour, or take a tour first and then attend one of the later presentations.The School opens at 3.45pm for those attending the 4.00pm talk and for families who wish to have a tour before attending the 5.00pm presentation. The evening will conclude at 6.40pm.Please book a place at one of the presentations:4.00pm-4.20pm (Presentation first, followed by a tour)5.00pm-5.20pm (Your choice on the evening: presentation in advance of tour, or at the end of your tour)6.00pm-6.20pm (Tour first, followed by presentation)When attending, please use local carparks (Holland Road, Duke Street and Upper Holland Road are the closest) and park with consideration for our neighbours, there will not be any visitor parking on site.
