- **Event Description**: Join us for the third day retreat in the Woodlands. As we follow the seasons this one is summer. We are at full peak so this will be energetic with movement and sounds.

There will be a soundbath under the canopy outdoors nestled in the woods and we will be doing a moving meditation in the form of movement therapy 'Dancing in the Woods'

There will be a yoga session too outdoors to keep you grounded in nature.

Maria will guide you through two yoga practices surrounded by the elements, to awaken and ground you. In the morning, exploring an awakening class blending together hatha yoga into elemental flow. Taking several breaths in postures so your body has time to respond and relax.
In the afternoon, surrending to a slower pace from yang to yin, a restorative practice to self-soothe your nervous system.

Whether you have an existing yoga practice or have never stepped foot onto the mat before, there will be different options for each posture to you experiment. Each practice honouring the traditional foundations of yoga as a practice of self-enquiry and self-study - leaving you with short somatic and breath rituals you can use in your everyday, as you integrate from your retreat experience.

You will need to provide your own lunch and utensils because we are outdoors all day regardless of weather so please come prepared for all elements.

Parking on site is available for free.

This is suitable for all but sound baths are not recommended for people with epilepsy or pregnancy.
