THIS is one of THE BEST places I have stayed in - right in the heart of the Cairngorms and for those who have partners who do not ride, or those who just do not ride … the railway station is just in town - so the opportunity to join in on this tour is there 🤩👍🏻
We ride from the biking mecca that is Matlock Bath on 31st August 2016 up along the backbone of Britain to stay overnight at The Beuccleugh Arms Hotel in Moffat - an established biker hotel with good food and good banter.
Onwards the next day to our retreat in the Cairngorms National Park where our accommodation offers a variety of separate bedrooms with en suite bathrooms a large well equipped kitchen and living room with wood burner , a private garden and outdoor seating areas with private parking. The accommodation is two minutes walk from the town with shops, restaurants and historic / natural areas to visit.

My hope is to offer a 3 days excursion to Kirkwall on Orkney for those who wish to venture up there.
We would ride up to Gills Bay on 2nd Sept - ferry over, getting us to Orkney mid afternoon and therefore offering us a good few hours before dark. We stay in twin bedded accommodation in Kirkwall Hostel.
Orkney has so much history to see - the Ring of Brodga, Skara Brea, the Italian Chapel …. and all yours to enjoy for the next day.
Sept 3rd our ferry takes us back to the mainland and a ride back to our accommodation in the Cairngorms National Park.
For peeps who stay all week in the Cairngorms there are many places to visit and activities to enjoy. Ride out or take a train journey…
Options for food include local businesses an online shop and community meals.
We leave our accommodation 6th Sept to ride/train home….
We have 12 places on this tour priced at £850 p/p.
The excursion cost is £450 - this includes return ferry to Orkney and accommodation in Kirkwall.
A deposit of £350 is required per person and £150 for those undertaking the excursion.
Please message me in the first instance to discuss room type as there are a mixture of single/double/shared/singular rooms.
