Elderly Care Training Workshop 2026

This one-day intensive workshop is tailored for domestic helpers, family caregivers, and aspiring eldercare professionals who provide care to elderly individuals at home. The program equips participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to deliver safe, compassionate, and effective care. Through hands-on training and expert guidance, attendees will learn techniques to promote dignity, independence, and well-being for both the caregiver and the elderly person.

Participants will gain expertise in the following areas:

1. Promoting personal hygiene skills for elderly individuals
2. Assisting with feeding and administering medications
3. Fall prevention techniques
4. Basic first aid for emergencies
5. Food hygiene and healthy meal planning for elderly persons
6. Understanding mental health in elderly individuals and recognizing warning signs
7. Bathing and oral care basics
8. Observing vital signs and measuring blood pressure, body temperature, and blood sugar
9. Supporting elderly individuals with mild mobility impairments in transferring positions
