"Small Things Like These" is a 2021 novella which was adapted into a 2024 film starring Cillian Murphy. 116 pages.

The story is about a coal merchant in 1985 Ireland who discovers secrets at a local convent, forcing him to confront his conscience and the town's complicity in the abuses of the Magdalene laundry asylums in Ireland.
