- **Event Description**: Join us for a unique musical experience as part of the Maple Grove Summer Concert Series! Our 2nd Annual Strings at the Springs creates an elegant blend of music and nature for guests to enjoy while visiting. Together, we are in for a weekend of talented musical offerings set to the backdrop of all that we love about being here. From soaking to yoga, mediation and conversation, we're blending the timeless magic of classical music with the natural flow of hot springs and natural exploration. 

Soaking while listening to live music is a surreal experience of letting the sounds take you on a one-of-a-kind journey. This Labor Day Weekend let the sounds of strings from around the world wash over you in a unique blend of soaking and sounds that are meant to transform the way you experience live music. 

Pack a picnic, bring a blanket, or simply soak while you take in the sounds from our gathering lawn and mineral pools. 

We welcome back many of our performers from last year and some new friends we've made along the way. 

Friday, August 29th at the Gathering Pools and Gathering Tree 

5-8pm - Preston Farmers / Makers Market
6pm - Meg Simper and Strings -  Sounds of guitar & bass 
8pm - Karavan Sarai - Mesmerizing music of the Middle Eastern & Silk Road

Saturday, August 30th at the Gathering Pools, Gathering Tree & Forest 

9am - Aquatic Yoga & Karavan Sarai - Enjoy live middle eastern sounds while guided through aquatic yoga in our gathering pools 
11am - Orla O'Connor - Fiddle tunes straight from Ireland 
3pm - Forest Meditation with Katie Schiffgen - A guided meditation mixed with live music 
6pm - Nicole Bentley -  A blend of classical and contemporary piano music 
8pm - Wade Evans - World strings with a blend of sitar, mandolin, fiddle, and flute

Sunday, August 31st at the Gathering Pools and Gathering Tree 

9am - Aquatic Yoga & Wade Evans - Enjoy the sounds of world strings while guided through aquatic yoga in our gathering pools 
11am - Nicole Bentley - A blend of classical and contemporary piano music 
1pm - Casey Brastaad - A blend of string instruments and flute 
3pm - Jay Hurley - Cigar Box Guitar Workshop + Music
7pm - Casey Brastaad - A blend of string instruments and flute 
8pm - Antonio Garcia Lyons - Setting the perfect ambience with his passionate and interactive Spanish guitar 

Monday, September 1st at the Gathering Pools
