'Threading Through Time & Place' with Courtlye Musick - Medieval tea served

Saturday 19th July 3 – 5pm – Courtlye Musick ‘Threading through Time and Place’ with Anita and Martin Felton, Anne and Gareth Jones - a Medieval tea will be served

Step back in time with Courtlye Musick (a group of versatile musicians specialising in instrumental music and song from the renaissance and late medieval periods), as they weave a pattern of music and composers through the courts of Europe and through the 15th and 16th centuries.

The group will be playing on a vast collection of replica period instruments and, as in previous performances at the Ship Inn, they will perform in costume of the time and introduce the music and instruments to the audience.

Courtlye Musick has been busy in the last year, with events such as the Milton Abbas Street Fair, Twinning weekends with an Early Music and Dance ensemble from Cherbourg and concerts across the South Coast.
