A Blue Christmas service is a way to acknowledge that while the Christmas season is a joyous time, it can also bring struggle and difficult feelings of all kinds. This will be a simple service that reminds us we can cry out in times of mourning to God, too.
Folks who have lost someone they love whether recently or long ago, or suffered a setback in life, or are struggling in any way with anything, or who would just like to come and pray for others are all welcome to attend as we join together in prayers of lament and hope.
