Drumming is used around the world for healing, celebrations and connection. In this 6 hour fun, educational, creative and energy raising Spirit Drum workshop you will learn how to create, connect with and care for, your very own 18-inch Elk hide Spirit Drum.

You will receive your own completed 18-inch Spirit Drum, a drum stick for bringing your Spirit Drum’s heartbeat to life, sage for smudging, a free connective meditation to continue to develop the connection between you and the Spirit Drum and the experience of drumming in a circle for healing, connecting to mother earth and for raising your energy vibration throughout your being. This is a workshop like no other!!
The cost of this workshop is $260 (which pays for the purchase of the drum making kits & drum stick making materials, shipping of materials, sage, conditioner and tools for making the Spirit Drum).

While everyone has different dietary restrictions, and we will only have 30 mins for lunch, we would ask that everyone bring their own bagged lunch and snacks.
In this creative & connective workshop you will experience:
• Creating Your Own Spirit Drum
• Smudging of yourself and your drum
• Learning about the history of drumming
• The meaning behind making drums
• Learning about your song and the drum’s song
• Understanding the many uses for drumming in your life
• Setting an intention for your specific drum
• Deciding on a pattern for your back strapping
• Making your very own 20-inch Elk hide Spirit Drum
• Creating your very own Drum Stick
• Giving thanks to the animal that provided the hide, the animal that provides the leather for the drum stick, the tree that provided your Spirit Drum hoop, and the tree that provided your drum stick. We thank all spirit involved in your drum, including mother earth; the provider and nurturer of the animals and the trees.
• Connecting to your Spirit Drum’s heart through meditation, connecting to the essence and spirit of the combined energies of the animals and trees that provided, to make your Spirit Drum.
• Learning how to strengthen and feed your Spirit Drum
• Steps to care for and nurture your Spirit Drum
• A full drumming circle, learning rhythms and techniques for drumming after you take your drum home
