This is an eight week, two and a half hour group work program on child to parent/carer violence (CPV) aimed at individuals whose children abuse them or appear to be out of parental control. The program outline is:

• Presentations, questionnaires and genograms
• Causes and influences of abusive behaviour
• What is abuse
• What can I control in my child's life?
• Results
• Anger and debunking the myths of anger
• Assertiveness
• Self care, future goal setting and evaluation
• Progress follow-up after two months on achieving goals, evaluation and further goals
