Join us on December 26th on Tenby North Beach for the legendary Tenby Boxing Day Swim - this year celebrating “All Things Welsh” as we gear up to welcome the National Eisteddfod of Wales to Pembrokeshire in 2026! ?

It’s one of Wales’ favourite festive traditions - hundreds of brave swimmers, cheering crowds, and plenty of post-dip celebrations to warm you up. And this year, we’re adding an extra splash of Welsh pride to the waves!

? Theme: All Things Welsh
Let your imagination run wild with costumes inspired by Welsh culture, legends and icons. Think red dragons ?, daffodils ?, leeks ?, Welsh rugby stars ?, bards ?, miners ⛏️, castles ?, choir singers ?, or even icons like Tom Jones or Shirley Bassey! The more creative and Cymru-inspired, the better.

? After your icy dip, enjoy hot soup and a medal to celebrate your bravery (or madness!).

? We kindly ask for a suggested donation of £10 per swimmer - not an entry fee, but a way to support local causes while taking part. This year’s swim will raise funds for four fantastic local charities:

Tenby RNLI - Saving lives at sea

Tenby Sea Cadets - Helping young people develop skills and confidence on the water

The Old Chapel - Supporting the local community

Sandy Bear Children’s Bereavement Charity - Helping children and families through loss

The Tenby Boxing Day Swim has already raised over £300,000 for good causes - and with the Eisteddfod coming to Pembrokeshire next year, this is your chance to kick off the celebrations early, Welsh-style! ?‍♂️
