Ginger Bug is back at Manorbier House!
On Saturday 20th December we'll be marking the winter solstice by partying through the longest night of the year. As well as celebrating midwinter and the slow return of the light, we're also celebrating two crew birthdays - our Sagittarian decor designer Ffion's, and Capricorn DJ-promoter Jake (aka NKC aka Nerveplant)!
We're hyped to announce that Pembrokeshire-based producer and DJ none nicer will be our special guest. Fresh off the back of releasing his second killer EP 'off-kilter' as part of his self-released series on Bandcamp, expect banging techno, electro and house from his peak time set.
Building on her momentum from recent sets in Bristol and at our Block party in September, Chinche will be back on deck with her bass-heavy Afro and Latin-influenced selections. Birthday boy NKC will be rolling out some high energy tribal house and techno alongside his own productions, as well as warming things up with a downtempo and slow jams set as Nerveplant.
We'll also be presenting the debut set of Underwood Sound - a collaborative two hour performance from organic veg heroes Sal and Shadow Flute. The set will feature live flute, spoken word poetry, banging beats... and maybe even some Christmas-themed dancehall.
As ever, sounds will be provided by our big rig, and natural decor foraged and installed by Hael and Lane Gardens.
