Our 174th Anniversary Spring Concert will feature   The Ringgold Band's talented musicians performing music that celebrates America and the 250th anniversary of our nation under the skilled direction of our conductor, Charles Ebersole. 
  
This year's featured guest is Governor Mifflin High School graduate Master Sergeant J.G. Miller – French Horn. MSG Miller graduated from Governor Mifflin High School and played with the Ringgold Band in the early 2000’s. He holds a doctorate from The University of Southern California, a master’s from The University of Arizona, and degrees in Performance and Education from The Eastman School of Music, where he received the Performer’s Certificate.

A member of The United States Army Field Band, MSG Miller logs thousands of miles both nationally and internationally with the premier touring concert band of the Army, performing free concerts for the public, connecting citizens with their Army, and honoring veterans. 

With the Army Field Band, he can be heard as principal horn on their GRAMMY® winning album, “Soundtrack of the American Soldier.” 

The band is proud to acknowledge our Ringgold Band Young Artist Award winners: Artemis Drake, Rocky Rochlin, and Marissa Smith. This concert will.  feature Artemis Drake on oboe, and Rocky Rochlin on alto saxophone, with Marissa Smith being featured on flute with the band at a future summer concert. 

You will also be treated to the exciting sounds of the Ringgold New Horizons Band.
