While the dough rests, you’ll build the rest of the dish and sharpen your knife skills along the way. You’ll learn how to thinly slice garlic, properly mince shallot, and master a chiffonade technique for slicing fresh basil without bruising the delicate leaves.Next, you’ll prepare a flavorful sauce of sun-dried tomatoes, shallot, garlic, and olive oil, then learn a simple restaurant technique for creating a silky, cohesive sauce: tossing freshly cooked pasta with starchy pasta water to help the sauce emulsify and cling to every bite. Finish your dish with fresh mozzarella, basil, and a drizzle of balsamic for the perfect finishing touch.No prior experience is necessary! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, and everyone will have the opportunity to participate as much as they’d like. You’ll leave with a delicious meal, new pasta-making and knife skills, and a printed recipe to recreate the experience at home.Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for check-in, especially if you’re attending as part of a large group.
