The Art of Improvisation of Persian Classical and World Fusion Music.
This performance will bring back Navid Kandelousi a gifted master virtuoso on violin and Kamanche back to Phoenix to collaborate once again with Saman Mahmoudi (virtuoso) on percussion mainly Santour, and Farhad Fallah, a new genertion Tombak and Percussion Player.
Navid Kandelousi covers a vast range of music all the way from Western classical such as Bach, Beethoven, Mozart , and Vivaldi, to styles in Iranian classical such masters Tajvidi , Khorram and Badiyee.
Saman in the years abroad, has performed Iranian classical with a huge sense of diverse and soulfulness. He improvises in a way which glues the audience to their seats.
Together these three will take us on a improvisational journey into Iranian classical and world music FOR A MEMORABLE NIGHT. We are honored and excited to have such an ensemble in Phoenix.
