Armed Guard Card Class - Tempe

NEW FEE SCHEDULE FOR ARMED GUARD IS IN EFFECT. Armed cards will now cost $100, and $22 for the fingerprint fee. They are good for 4 YEARS!!!

Welcome to the Armed Guard Card Class! Get ready to learn about becoming a certified armed guard in a fun and interactive setting. Join us for two days filled with valuable information and hands-on training. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the process and answer any questions. You must have an unarmed guard card or actively in the process, to enter class.(DPS WILL NOT Process Armed Applications without having or being in the Process of obtaining your Unarmed Guard Card.

Bring to class(Wednesday):

Lunch or snacks, water

Bring to Range(Thursday):

Firearm (9mm or Larger)

Belt(s)

Level 2 Duty Holster or better

2 extra Magazines/mag belt carrier

At Least 100 rounds of ammo (2-qualification attempts)

Arizona law requires a person to obtain a 70% shooting accuracy to qualify for a firearms license! At LionHeart Security Services, we have always held our armed security guards to an even higher standard. For instance, we require our staff to pass the State firearms licensing qualification with an accuracy of 90%. In addition, all fired hits must remain on the target silhouette even if they miss the target zone.
