🎯 Purpose
To bring together healthcare systems, hospitals, clinics, providers, and community partners to collaborate on improving access to care for military veterans, spouses, and surviving spouses.
These discussions explore innovative, veteran-focused approaches—combining natural and alternative therapies, trauma-informed communication, and sustainable practice models—to enhance care and well-being.
Our goals are to:

🌿 Explore mind–body and body-based therapies (from yoga and acupuncture to forest bathing and sound healing)
💬 Discuss real-world impact on pain management, PTSD, chronic fatigue, and caregiver stress
❓ Opening question: “What one mind–body or body-based therapy has had the greatest impact for a veteran or their family—and how did you first learn about it?”
🤝 Building Trust, Identifiying Solutions & Bridging Community Engagement
🗣 Uncover real-world barriers to equitable, trauma-informed care and highlight practical strategies that work. It sparks dialogue, shares lessons across sectors, and supports collaboration toward more responsive, inclusive healthcare systems.
🔄 Map out how to deepen referral workflows, use digital platforms, and engange in training and technical assistance
❓ Opening question: “From your perspective, what’s one barrier that prevents providers, systems, or community-based organizations from delivering equitable, trauma-informed care—and what’s a strategy you’ve seen or implemented that works to overcome it?”
💰 Practice Sustainability & Financial Resilience
🚀 Identify start-up challenges (licensing, space, marketing, equipment) and funding opportunities ( gov and private grants, state programs, philanthropy)
⚖ Discuss policy levers, reimbursement pathways, and advocacy strategies to scale veteran-centered services
❓ Opening question: "What has been your biggest challenge in securing funding or forming partnerships with healthcare systems, hospitals, and/or clinics to deliver innovative, integrative services—such as natural/alternative therapies, trauma-informed communication, or sustainable practice models—for YOUR clients? How did you work to overcome it"
