It's time to grab your pawns polish your strategy and enter the arena at the Junior Joust Chess Tournament — where young minds battle it out one brilliant move at a time!

🗓️ When: Every 2nd & 4th Saturday of the Month

🕚 Time: First round starts sharply at 11:00 AM

📍 Where: Temecula Chess Club

🎯 Arrive 5–15 minutes early to check in and be ready for Round 1—no fashionably late grandmasters allowed!

👥 Who Can Join?

• TCC Members ages 17 & under
• USCF Quick rating 1300 or below
• (If you level up mid-season you’re still in—go win those finals!)
• Must have a USCF membership and Temecula Chess Club membership

♟️ Format & Rules:

• 4-Round Swiss system (G/15 – 15 minutes per player)
• Quick-rated by US Chess Federation
• Earn points toward seasonal finals—5 points gets you in!

🏅 Prizes:

Top 3 players take home shiny medals (and bragging rights of course!)

💵 Entry Fee: Just $15 to join the action
