We invite you to step away from the noise of the modern world and return to the rhythm of the Earth. As the Snow Moon rises, the Red Wolf Intentional Community opens its gates for a day of deep purification, communal song, and shared nourishment. This gathering is a sanctuary for those seeking to reset their spirits and reconnect with the "heartbeat of the land."
Join us on Saturday, February 7th, starting at "Hippie Noon" (approx. 12:00 PM) as we light the sacred fire and prepare to enter the womb of the Earth. This is not just an event; it is an intentional journey through fire, water, and sound.
The Journey of the Day:
The Sacred Sweat Lodge: Led by experienced water-pourers, our lodge is a space of prayer and purification. As the "Stone People" (heated volcanic rocks) are brought into the center, we will move through four rounds of traditional song, intention setting, and steam. This ceremony is designed to shed the winter's stagnation and emerge with clarity and renewed purpose.
The Heartbeat Drum Circle: As the sun dips below the horizon and the Full Moon takes her place in the sky, we transition to the central fire pit. We invite you to bring your drums, rattles, and acoustic instruments. This facilitated drum circle focuses on communal "heartbeat" rhythms, allowing the collective energy to rise and fall with the moon. No musical experience is required—only a willingness to listen and flow.
The Ancestral Potluck Feast: Breaking bread is a sacred act of community. Following the lodge, we will gather for a massive potluck. We emphasize "high-vibe" nourishment—organic, local, and homemade dishes that fuel the body and soul. This is a time for storytelling, laughter, and deepening the bonds of our intentional family.
The Fire Vigil & Moon Gazing: For those who wish to stay late, we will keep the sacred fire burning well into the evening. This is a space for quiet reflection, deep conversation, and basking in the silver light of the February moon.
