About the workshop:

This workshop is for advanced beginners. Over ten weeks, we will dive into longer improvised scenework. We will begin by honing interesting character choices; creating three-dimensional characters who have emotion, history and motivations. We will then move onto relationship-building and explore how to create rapport between characters. Next, we will take those characters and relationships and explore them further in longer scenes, discovering how to build tension and intrigue. Finally, we will practice weaving those scenes together to tell a larger story. And of course we will have a whole lot of fun along the way!

This workshop ends in an optional (and strongly recommended!) class performance
