Each year, we host the KSHSAA Solo/Ensemble Regional festival RIGHT HERE at Shawnee Heights High School. On this day, 15 other high schools join us to perform in solo and ensembles in front of professional judges to receive a rating with a goal of getting a 1 - Superior. MANY of our students are performing this year - so many in fact that I hit my limit according to KSHSAA bylaws.

This year’s festival is Saturday, April 11th. Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. You are allowed and encouraged to sign up for more than one slot! You will be assigned to be a Door Monitor, Judging Assistant, Runner, Staff Support, or Concessions worker.

·         Volunteers serving for 2 or more time blocks will be given a voucher for their choice of chips or candy, and a drink from the concession stand.
·         Volunteers serving for the entire day (4 or more time blocks) will receive a voucher for lunch that includes entree, chips or candy, and a drink.

STUDENTS WHO ARE PERFORMING - Once you receive your time slot, plan on arriving 30 minutes early to warm up and locate your performance room.

PARENTS - Please come watch your students perform. We had many rooms last year with no spectators. ☹️ YOU ARE WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED TO SPECTATE!
