"The Elemental Coat is a loose-fitting, slightly A-line coat with options! Choose from the full-length, mid-length, and cropped length, as well as 3/4 or full-length sleeves.
Pattern includes options for adding a hood or collar, and for using a button loop closure. Whether re-purposing quilts, using new fabric combinations or quilt-your-own with coordinating Quilted Element modules, the Elemental Coat pattern is designed bring quilters into the garment-sewing world and give them the opportunity to let their quilt-making skills shine.
Day 1: We will cut out our templates and cut out, label, and arrange pieces. If time allows, we will begin sewing.
Day 2: We will Focus on the coat’s assembly. 
Supplies: 
3 ½ yards of already quilted fabric. We used a print that looked pieced together.
7 yards of bias binding 
Piecing foot 
Thread and bobbins to match 
Scissors for fabric and paper 
Pins and/or fabric clips
Walking foot recommended 
Elemental coat sewing pattern 
Rotary cutter
