In this class you will learn all the basics of free motion quilting. We will discuss needles, types of thread, basting methods, creating designs, and how to tie off the quilting thread at the beginning and end.
Supplies:
• Sewing Machine with foot Pedal
• Quilting foot
• Extension table (if your machine has one)
• Straight stitch needle plate (if your machine has one)
• Fabric marking pen
• Scissors
• Empty bobbin
Optional supplies: Quilting gloves or quilters grips, and a quilting slider
What we will provide for you on class day:
• Quilting needle
• Thread
• Practice fabric and batting
