Dr. Linda F. Carnes-McNaughton, PhD, RPA, has worked across land and sea uncovering history through pottery, pirate ships, historic cemeteries, and more. Her work on the Queen Anne’s Revenge Shipwreck Project helped identify and interpret pottery and global artifacts from Blackbeard’s flagship. She is the co-author of Blackbeard’s Sunken Prize: The 300-Year Voyage of Queen Anne’s Revenge and was inducted into Marquis Who’s Who in America for her scholarship and public service.
