DAY1:A 2-3 hour indoor session@ Lake State Mountaineering in Minneapolis, focusing on the gear & equipment needed to build top rope anchors.Review of the different knots and hitches required for anchors.

DAY 2: A full day of outside learning @ Interstate State Park! The focus of this course will be learning artificial and natural anchoring assessment, methods to join anchor points to create a power point for top roping, as well as some protection considerations and skills to increase safety. This course will be teaching the most current standards and techniques to ensure that all participants have a solid foundation. All participants will receive learning aids/ documents which they get to keep as well.
