Water Fun & Safety Series: McDade Park

Join us for the Water Safety Series — a FREE, family-friendly program designed to help you stay safe and confident on the water this summer!

Hosted by Lackawanna County’s Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with Wild Wellness NEPA and Brewster’s Safety Training, these events will take place every Tuesday in July from 12–2 PM at various Lackawanna county parks.

Each session will feature:

✅ Inflatable kayak and paddle board PSI checks
✅ Water safety tips and demonstrations
✅ Shade tents set up near the water
✅ Cold water to keep everyone cool and hydrated

Whether you're brand new to paddling or swimming just want to brush up on your safety knowledge, come out and enjoy some time by the water while learning how to stay safe and have fun!
