About the event

Model Rocket Launch and Demo

Model Rocket Demonstration and Launch
Saturday July 19 9am at Tawas High School Football Field
Free and open to the public. Enthusiasts can bring thier own rockets, newcomers can select from club rockets and we will help you prep them for launch and let you lead the countdown and press the launch button. We especially like families with kids 6-15 to come out and help launch and recover the rockets. Kids 10+ will be given a rocket kit to build and bring to a future launch (Oscoda HS Soccer Aug 2 or Tawas Aug 16). Weather looks great, 69 degrees and cloudy with an 8mph wind, perfect for rockets. Weather delays or cancellations will be posted on our facebook page
