The bike rodeos will teach kids bicycle handling and safety skills. This FREE activation will be held in the parking lot of Plantation Key School located at 100 Lake Rd, Tavernier, FL 33070. Bike rodeos are bring your own bike events. We present bicycle “driving” courses, in a safe and protected environment, designed to simulate actual roadway situations commonly encountered by bicyclists. A bike rodeo is an effective way to involve parents, teachers and civic and community groups in helping young children learn how to ride safely. They also provide a social and interactive way to reinforce safe bicycling skills.
