- **Event Description**: Bring your children to our wonderful SUMMER HOLIDAY EDUCATION PROGRAMME which is in the lovely rural Waitao Valley.
Here at Teacher in the Paddock the children will experience a hands on educational approach, which is fun, engaging, and connecting children of all ages to nature, and the environment around them. The children learn about conservation on this land and in the wider valley. Removing a pest tree, then whittling and crafting a stick is a fun and a wonderful learning experience.
On the farm their is lots of exploring and observations as we study our resident eels and the abundant nature around us.
The children will also be working in our food gardens, learning about dairying, horse riding, and caring for all our animals.
At lunch they will prepare their main meal in our outdoor area with freshly harvested ingredients.
Children and youth of all ages can come together and be part of this creative and learning experience. There is something to explore in every kind of weather, and always something new.

COST: $75.00 Lunch included. 8.30am to 3pm each day.
