Join us as we gather to celebrate Winter Solstice and Matariki, the Māori New Year — a sacred time to honour those who have gone before us, give thanks for the present, and plant seeds of intention for the season ahead.

Beneath the stars and around the fire, we kindle the warmth of community through voice, rhythm, and presence.

The evening begins with chai around the fire, medicine songs, live drumming, and an opening ceremony featuring special guest Sally Azima. Together, we welcome the longest nights of winter through song, reflection, and connection.

As the evening unfolds, we move into the cosy bells tent, The Sound Temple, for the second part of our journey: an immersive experience of Dances of Universal Peace. Through simple circle dances, sacred chants, and embodied prayer inspired by many of the world's spiritual traditions, we soften the mind, open the heart, and remember the joy of belonging.

No singing or dance experience is needed. Come exactly as you are.
