These are the last words spoken by Joan of Arc (1412-1431), a French peasant girl who showed boundless faith and unfaltering courage. Her faith gave her a mission. Her King gave her a command. Her country became her army. Joan of Arc was burnt at the stake at the age of 19.
Joan of Arc, written by Kim Williamson, is a play about perseverance, courage, passion and strength of character.
