He Iwi Kāinga have completed a full assessment of our marae, on what we need and what's possible. This wānanga is your opportunity to hear those findings and contribute to the direction of how we restore and develop Poukura Marae before the next part of the process commences.

Wānanga 7-9 August 2026 - Poukura Marae

Friday 7th - Marae open, hāngī prep
Saturday 8th - 10am Wānanga, 12.30 hāngī lunch, 2pm Wānanga continued
Sunday 9th - Trust hui, clean up & close

We will present:
- The Marae Ora Assessment: What condition our facilities are in and what needs attention
- The feasibility study: What opportunities and options are on the table
- Tūwharetoa Māori Trust Board Marae Grant: What funding may be available and what it could mean for us
- Open kōrero: Your questions and your whakaaro on how we move forward

This is about us, as a hapū, deciding together how we restore and breathe new life into our beloved home. The kōrero and decisions from this wānanga will directly inform our feasibility study for the future development of Poukura Marae. Come and be part of that kōrero.
